Ingredients
1.1 Chicken (boneless and cubed).
2.2 big bunches of corriander leaves.
3.4 tbsps of ginger, garlic paste.
4.2 tbsps of green chillies paste.
5.salt.
6.2 tsps of garam masala powder.
7.Whole garam masala( 5 pods of cardamom, 5 pieces of cinnamon, 3 tsps of jeera,)
8. 3 red dry chillies.
9.2 big onions( sliced and fried)
10.1 cup fresh yoghurt.
11.2 tbsps oil.
Method
1. Boil chicken cubes in 2 cups water , salt,and 2 tbsps ginger,garlic paste. till just soft.
2.Grind fried onions, with yoghurt and corriander leaves.
3.Put oil in a pan add whole masala and red chillies, fry for 20 sec.
4.Add yoghurt paste, remaining ginger, garlic and green chillies paste. Fry for 15 mins on medium heat.
5.Add boiled chicken ( not the stock) cook again for 10 mins on med heat, till oil seperates.
6.Add stock ,salt and garam masala powder, slow the heat and cook for 10 mins.
7.Garnish with corriander leaves and serve hot with naan or jeera rice.

Healthcare reform
Looking forward to the demise of our healthcare system. Our President for some reason thinks that the VA Healthcare system is an ideal one. Has he ever been in there??
I'm disgusted that our president, who I voted for, is more interested in making deals with pharmaceutical companies than truly interested in finding solutions - i.e. lowering costs. The reform does not talk about capping malpractice lawsuits at all. If anything, we should work on malpractice and the entire medical education system needs to be revived since defensive medicine is so intermixed with the general practice of medicine that most physicians can't tell one apart from another. There are several big county hospitals all around the country that still utilize hand written notes. I'm glad that our president has addressed this issue and wants to fix it.
But some of the models that I've heard from the president and his so called advisors are baffling. Incentive based payment of physicians for example. Perhaps that president needs to realize that when a physician treats the patient, the patients role in his/her health is just as important as a physicians. So, even though a physician may do everything appropriately if the patient neglects to follow a good diet or take medications, in this system the physician gets penalized for it. Additionally, medical education in the United States is much more expensive than 99% of the countries. This is yet another issue that the president needs to address.

So, I'm done with everything. Fortunately my CK went well enough. Followed by a fantastic sub-internship where I ended up signing for my residency. I've been fortunate enough to get very good evaluations from my attendings. So now that I've finished everything I'm working on some clinical research until I start my residency. Was worried that I will lose all clinical skills b/c of the huge gap between med school and residency. Been busy working but I'm trying my best to continue to read various blogs and articles to stay in touch with medicine. My goal is to get back to residency with all the knowledge that I had as a 4th year med student if not more.
